Quality Standards

Young Suffolk Quality Standards is an award process that  recognises that an organisation has provided evidence it is a well run and safe provider of services for children and young people. The Award is valid for three years, after which it has to be renewed.

There are two routes an organisation can go down when undertaking the Quality Standards - the Full Standard for larger groups or groups with paid staff, and the Lite Standard for groups with no paid staff.

In both routes organisations and groups look at and compile a portfolio of good practice for child protection, health and safety, staff support and development and organisational management policies and procedures.

Read more information on the process and how this benefits your organisation. This process is free for Young Suffolk members.

If you are interested please contact Jacqui Wilkinson or your Area Coordinator if you already have one. Please note, organisations wishing to undertake one of the Quality Standards routes must be a Young Suffolk Member.
